Too Obscure For You?

Kavian’s scream comments in the beginning come from the first episode of Spongebob Squarepants, a show I’ve given up on. They seem to forget that comedy is about timing; you can’t just say any crazy thing that pops into the writers’ heads at full throttle. Anyway, the real quote is from Mr. Krabs, getting a whiff of anchovies (this being Bikini Bottom, they’re also customers): “Do you smell it, Squidward? That smelly smell that smells… smelly.”

Savannah is playing Nintendogs, otherwise know as The Reason I Bought a Nintendo DS. It’s a wonderful puppy-raising simulation: no shedding, no incessant barking, no literal poop scooping. Just lots of well-animated puppy love. They will indeed come when you call their names, even if their name happens to be a horrible, gutteral yell.

I’m assuming even my readers who read this section have seen a Triforce once before.
