Too Obscure For You?

The beginning of Savannah’s speech in the seventh panel comes from J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Dumbledore tells a great many secrets to Harry at the end of the book, and my reaction was: that’s it? You call that a prophecy? Jeez, what a rip off. The whole book was fantastic, as usual, but I was a bit underwhelmed with Dumbledore’s great “revelation.”

The crustacean you see at the bottom of this comic is none other than Dr. Zoidberg from the cartoon Futurama. He’s the company doctor for Planet Express, but he’s always poor, starving, and in need of a friend. Just like the guy I see every once in a while in my mirror.
