Too Obscure For You?

What’s that plaque hanging in front of the Safety Deposit Vault? It’s a picture of Scrooge McDuck, the wealthy… um, relative of Donald Duck from the classic Disney comics and cartoon Ducktales. I’m not so good with family trees: the “nephews” call Donald and Scrooge “uncle”… right? Well, it doesn’t matter.

It’s awfully difficult to graffiti castle walls in an era without spray paint. So a bucket of regular white paint will have to do. On the left is Garrett, from the fantastic Looking Glass game Thief. And that’s our friendly neighborhood Spider-man on the right, in his very own font. Pretty lean on the references today, hmm?
