Too Obscure For You?

Who is that blurry fellow in the first panel? It’s Max Payne, bringer of the most atrociously hysterical dialogue ever heard in a video game. His fourth dialog box actually comes from a famous Dungeons and Dragons spoof by The Dead Alewives. That joke is so overdone that I must restrain myself to only one line.

Elder Moe’s dialog in the middle of the comic comes from the original Star Wars: A New Hope. These are Obi-Wan Kenobi’s lines, shortly before being struck down by Darth Vader. Thanks to eight hours of playing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, I’ve learned that there is no death, there is only The Force. If you own and Xbox and you don’t have KOTOR, you’re cheating yourself out of the best licensed game since Jedi Outcast. Even for those apathetic towards Star Wars (like myself), it’s a total blast.
